چکیده

We aimed at describing placental abruption in our county and evaluating factors associated with poor fetal outcome. In this case-control study, women were identified from two databases of Brest University Hospital between January 2013 December 2018. Placental histological findings, course pregnancies, maternal characteristics described compared cases (placental stillbirth or neonatal death) controls. 135 abruption, whom 24.4% complicated 6.5% death. Forty percent smokers 14.1% had a history vasculoplacental disorder. Pregnancies 42.2% pre-eclampsia 43% intrauterine growth restriction. Cases more autoimmune diseases mother (20.0% versus 3.2%, P = 0.003), aspirin heparin use during pregnancy 6.3%, 0.03), less (25.0% 49.5%, 0.01) deliveries ≤ 34 weeks gestation (80.0% 43.2%, 0.0001) than Placentas showed indentation ≥ 30% (42.5% 5.3%, < chronic inflammation, especially chorioamniotitis (2.5% 24.2%, 0.002) multivariate analysis, negatively outcome inflammation (P macroscopic infarcts 0.01). Poor is certain lesions, but not pre-eclampsia, what suggests various pathophysiological processes among abruption.

Prediction of fetal acidemia in placental abruption

BACKGROUND To determine the major predictive factors for fetal acidemia in placental abruption. METHODS A retrospective review of pregnancies with placental abruption was performed using a logistic regression model. Fetal acidemia was defined as a pH of less than 7.0 in umbilical artery. The severe abruption score, which was derived from a linear discriminant function, was calculated to deter...

Risk factors of placental abruption

BACKGROUND Placental abruption is one of the most common causes of bleeding during pregnancy. Multiple factors are known to be associated with increase of risk of placental abruption such as alcohol, cocaine use and cigarette smoking. The objective of this study was to identify risk factors for placental abruption in an Iranian women population. MATERIALS AND METHODS In a retrospective case -...

Increased placental resistance and late decelerations associated with severe proteinuric hypertension predicts poor fetal outcome.

The flow velocity wave forms generated by Doppler ultrasound examination of the umbilical artery were correlated with fetoplacental blood flow and numerically expressed as a ratio between the systolic (A) and the end-diastolic point (B). The technique is non-invasive and simple to perform. A cohort analytical study was done to see whether useful information could be obtained from the A/B ratio ...

Title: Prediction of Fetal Acidemia in Placental Abruption

We would like to submit a paper, entitled ‘Prediction of fetal acidemia in placental abruption’, which stresses the importance of nonreassuring fetal status, especially the presence of bradycardia in placental abruption and proposes the predictive score for fetal acidemia in placental abruption. To our knowledge, this study is the first to describe the possibilities for fetal acidemia in placen...
